by Bryan on June 21, 2010

Opus 19 is designed for the Arvada Methodist Church in Colorado. The acoustics in the room are very dry, but are hoped to be improved during renovation (the time when this organ would ((if built)) be installed). The instrument is arranged this way (from left to right), positiv, pedal, facade (dias), great, swell. The stoplist [...]

Westminster UMC

by Bryan on June 12, 2010

Recently, I visited the Westminster United Methodist Church. The organ is very interesting. The instrument started out as a 1915 E. M. Skinner organ at House of Hope Presbyterian, St. Paul, MA. The original stoplist can be found here. The organ was modified by Tellers organ in 1959, and received a Möller console at that [...]

Opus 16

April 2, 2010

After some technical difficulties, Opus 16 is now complete. The instrument has two ranks that are exposed. A stopped 8′ Flûte d’Amour and 4′ Prestant. The voicing is warm, similar to a French-Symphonic organ. The console has direct electric stop and key action, and any stop can be played on any manual or pedal. The [...]
