The February Chapel Organ program has had a slight change, which can be seen on the “concerts” page. I will now be performing the Prelude and Fugue sur le nom d’Alain (the Prelude is a new addition to the program).

Cathedral of St. John, Denver

January 7, 2012

It was a pleasure to play the organ at St. John’s Cathedral this past December. The instrument was one of the first I visited, right before removal for renovation. Though I do not recall the specifics of the organ before renovation, the end product was superb! The organ is filled with color, from the four [...]

St. Joseph Church

November 25, 2011

It was a pleasure to visit the church of St. Joseph (RC) in Camillus, NY. The building is built in the 1950-60′s style, but does have some good acoustic (probably because of the concrete floor under the pews, and no pew pads). The vast space is in the shape of a cross, with the altar [...]

Opus 21

October 10, 2011

After extensive collaboration, opus 21, 21a, and 21b have arrived. This project was started when I visited the Central Methodist Church in Traverse City for the first time. The instructor of organ at Interlochen (where I study) is also director of the choir and principal organist at Central Church. I began to imagine great possibilities [...]
