Opus 19 is designed for the Arvada Methodist Church in Colorado. The acoustics in the room are very dry, but are hoped to be improved during renovation (the time when this organ would ((if built)) be installed). The instrument is arranged this way (from left to right), positiv, pedal, facade (dias), great, swell. The stoplist is a new concept for me, an american mix of all types of stops. In general, I like to stick to one style of building per instrument, so this is new ground for me. The Great division is very even voicing, with larger-scale reeds. The positiv is mostly German voices, with small scaling, the swell is french and has fiery reeds, and lush strings (as one would expect). The pedal is a mix of everything, allowing the organist to accomplish almost any repertoire. The console would be a terraced drawknob console, and rolling for ease of use. I hope you enjoy the instrument. Use the links below to view.
