Westminster UMC

Recently, I visited the Westminster United Methodist Church. The organ is very interesting. The instrument started out as a 1915 E. M. Skinner organ at House of Hope Presbyterian, St. Paul, MA. The original stoplist can be found here. The organ was modified by Tellers organ in 1959, and received a Möller console at that time. It was purchased by Westminster UMC in 1982, and installed by some congregation members. The organ was in sad shape, and needed a change, so, it was moved to a new location in the sanctuary, and re-voiced, and the wind pressure reduced. I played some pieces for the clergy, which were very nice and excited to have visitors, and looked inside the pipe chambers. I enjoyed my time at Westminster, and will most likely be back shortly. Please see the photos page for pictures of the instrument.
