Opus 16

by Bryan on April 2, 2010

After some technical difficulties, Opus 16 is now complete. The instrument has two ranks that are exposed. A stopped 8′ Flûte d’Amour and 4′ Prestant. The voicing is warm, similar to a French-Symphonic organ. The console has direct electric stop and key action, and any stop can be played on any manual or pedal. The console drawknobs are in the following layout, from left to right: Pedal stops, Manual II stops, Manual I stops, and Blower and Light knobs. The clear voicing and warm tone make the instrument pleasing, and the direct action makes the instrument last long and responsive for accurate practicing. Use the links below to see the instrument. Enjoy.
