The Resignation of Dr. Jim Ruth

by Bryan on February 10, 2010

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Trinity Church’s Principal Organist, Dr. Jim Ruth, has decided to resign from the position this week. Jim was a great mentor to me and provided a great worship experience for others. I will become administrator of the organ, and our interim organist will be Kathy Eggleston, Organist Emeritus, Bethany Lutheran Church. The search for the next great Trinity organist will begin shortly. Please keep Trinity in your prayer as we go through this time of change.

Hi Bryan,

Sorry for the unexpected loss and change. These things happen.

I think it’s wonderful that you’ve been appointed Administrator of the Roosevelt. Quite a responsibility, but I know you’re up to it. And I don’t think the organ could have a better advocate.

Hang-in there. . .all will be resolved. Remember: Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit!

Cheers ~

Jim S.
